The yummy summer berries are coming in, but what do we do with the abundance of our berries. We have so many different types of berries. Do we freeze them? OR LET’S MAKE JAMS!!!! We will learn the differences between the different types of spreads and how to make and can them. We will even get to eat some of our yummy creations. You will need 1/2 pint jelly jars, lids and rings, to take your goodies home.

Ellen Harbin-Dabbs is a Tennessee native. Growing up in Tennessee State Parks, she learned many traditional skills that many have forgotten. She was taught the ways of the hearth by her mother and grandmother, Nanny. She was taught the outdoors by her father, who was an outdoors instructor and park ranger.
