KIDS’ WOODFIRED PIZZA CLASS w/ BRAD PARKER, SEPTEMBER 9TH at 4:30PM, $35 PER CHILD, 8 – 12, MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT
September 9 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
$35.00

In this hands-on, flour-dusted pizza adventure, young chefs learn how a great pizza comes together—from lighting the oven fire to choosing the toppings for their very own creation. Guided by Brad in a fun, age-appropriate setting, kids explore the simple ingredients and big flavors behind classic pizza.
Build the Fire
The class begins at the pizza oven, where children learn how wood creates the intense heat needed for crisp, blistered pizza. With close adult supervision, they help prepare the fire using kindling and dry wood, learn why airflow matters, and watch the flames turn the oven into a glowing, pizza-ready hearth. It is a memorable introduction to fire safety, cooking traditions, and the magic of a real wood-fired oven.
Make the Dough
Next, every child becomes a baker. They measure flour, water, yeast, salt, and a little olive oil; then mix, knead, stretch, and feel the dough transform beneath their hands. They will learn why dough needs time to rise and how to gently shape it into a personal pizza crust—whether they prefer a neat round pie or a more rustic, chef-made shape.
Create the Sauce
Young cooks make a bright, simple pizza sauce using crushed tomatoes, olive oil, herbs, and a pinch of seasoning. They can taste and adjust the sauce while learning how a few quality ingredients create deep flavor. It is a great opportunity to introduce fresh basil, garlic, oregano, and the idea of balancing sweet, savory, and tangy flavors.
Choose the Toppings
The best part: each child designs their own pizza.
