Saturday, October 21st- $175 per day
8:00-9:00 AM Continental Breakfast (flexible arrival time)
9:00- 10:30 AM Myofascial Release Yoga w/ Ashley Davis (whole group)
We’ll begin our day moving slowly and releasing tension. Fascia is connective tissue that holds every organ, blood vessel, bone, nerve fiber, and muscle in place. It also has nerves and is considered our largest sensory organ. When we are stressed, it tightens up! Fascia responds well to mechanical pressure. Myofascial Release enhances recovery, increases blood flow, improves mobility, and promotes relaxation. This class combines the use of RADroller, relaxation techniques, sport-specific stretching, and yoga asana to facilitate muscle recovery and improve flexibility. Appropriate for all levels.

Asana Break Down…
Ever wonder why we do specific postures? Or how to do them correctly? Maybe you learned yoga by watching others in a group class. We can all mimic body shapes, but are you fully engaging your muscles and getting the most out of your asana practice? In this hands-on workshop, we will learn what muscles are lengthening and strengthening and how and which muscles to engage fully.
Techniques and proper body alignment for your unique body. Ways our body takes the path of least resistance and how to realign. How to get stronger and improve your balance. We will also discuss variations, modifications, and how to use blocks/straps to support and advance your practice. Lots of practice and individual feedback were provided! You will leave feeling empowered and more aware of your body and how to get the most out of each posture. All levels are welcome.
