Storytelling is one of the most culturally essential art forms; stories are how we relate and connect with one another. In a moment when we seem to understand each other less and less\, we could use storytelling more and more. The Campfireball experience draws from storytelling traditions while turning the act of telling inside out. During The Campfireball\, the audience is not asked to sit passively\, listening as stories are told to them; the audience is the story. The Campfireball is built entirely around finding entertaining and unique ways to excite audience members to share pieces of their lives.\nIn The Campfireball\, the audience is the main attraction\, and each event is unique to whoever is sharing the space. The result is an experience unlike any entertainment option: a show with a twist ending where\, SURPRISE\, the audience was a community all along.

We don’t want to waste any of those delicious apples. \nYou will need a crockpot of your own (you will finish your apple butter at home)\, and a pint jar and a quart jar. \nEllen Harbin-Dabbs is a Tennessee native.  Growing up in the Tennessee State Park system\, she learned many traditional skills that have been forgotten over time.  She was taught ways of the hearth by her mother and grandmother\, and the ways of the wild by her father who was an outdoor instructor and park ranger.  Her stories and insights will keep your entertained as she passes along the knowledge of the “old ways”. \nThis class is part of our new Home Spun series\, designed to get us back in touch with our hand-made heritage.
