In this new four-part series\, you will join Chef Karla to learn about these incredible cuisines! The first stop is Nicoya\, Costa Rica. The traditional lunch of all “Ticos\,” as the people of Nicoya call themselves\, is called a Cassado. We will make a traditional Gallo Pinto\, Costa Rican Rice & Beans\, Hearts of Palm Ceviche\, Fried Green Plantains\, and Avocado with Nixtamal Tortillas & Homemade Nicoyan Hot sauce.
